User Interface Design

There are two elements when it comes to the look and feel of your site or application. The one you notice is the visual design. The other is the User Interface (UI). The UI is more subtle. You don't notice it, but you feel it. When a button feels out of place, or you actually click on a cancel button on a form when you meant to click on OK. It the overall layout, the placement of buttons and the flow of text that keeps you interested in the site you're visiting or the application you're using.

It's what made Apple computers the de facto computer for graphic artists in the late 80s. It's a big part of what kept Linux from gaining popularity in the mainstream for so long. It can be the one thing that makes a person stay on your site or never return. It's all about usability.

PXLR tries to understand the user and what makes them click (get it? click? ...nevermind). We'll research which sites are working and which are not in your industry to make sure we make your visitors into return visitors.
